At the request of a certain someone with pink hair, I am updating this blog (albeit a bit later than they would probably like).
My life has been generally normal lately. I finished my first block of classes at UoP and got A's in them (woo!), have been gaming way too much, gaining weight (good because I was severely under weight from the cancer, bad because it went a bit over the point where I'd like it and I feel kinda fat), and threw my back out roleplaying. Rolling 20's doesn't come easy, y'know.
Today my grandmother went in to have her pacemaker leads re-attached to her heart because something wasn't working right. She'll be coming home in the morning, and I get to look forward to a few weeks of keeping her from killing herself by doing yard work before she is ready. Whee! But at least she'll be feeling better. =)
Um... I dunno what else to say. One of my exes went through a few boyfriend-types recently, and is on the rebound. She's giving me the signs that she'd like us to be an item again, but I know that A) it would be a bad idea, and 2) it would be a STUPENDOUSLY bad idea. I'm worried that she's going to go back to her super-shitty fallback boyfriend she had for a while, but not so worried about it that I'm going to throw myself into the line of fire.
Speaking of relationship-type things, apparently my perfect girl lives in Washington. Joie was telling me all about one of her friends and I have no idea how this girl is single. She's apparently awesome and geeky and everything I've ever wanted in a girl. Except, I suppose, proximity.
I've been studiously ignoring issues of intimacy during my chemotherapy and such, but now that the end is in sight (radiation starts tomorrow, over in a month) I guess I feel that I've become semi-viable dating material again. Since I'm dying at the same rate as everyone else now. =p
This week is birthday week. Roughly one million of my friends birthdays occur in the next seven days. Prominent ones include Tony, Christina, Jason, Jeffy B, and Aunt Becky. I may have to speak with their parents and find out just what about late summer is so erotic to cause all of these births.
Um. That's about it. Whee!

Great to read a lengthy update and I'm glad to hear you're almost finished with treatment!
The girl in Washington sounds dreamy! You might just have to move for this one. Plus, Washington = AWESOME (not that I've been there or anything.. I just know these things)!
Tell Joie I said hi... Have either of you gotten back on Animal Crossing at all in the past few months? I still haven't found my DS and I've been extrememly sad about it. Especially since one of my good friends just bought Animal Crossing and was wanting to play with me. I think we might have accidentally thrown the DS away (I remember setting it in a box of other miscellaneous items and my husband might have thrown the entire box away) while we were trying to clean up the house a while back. :(
I hope you'll update more often!
Yeep! Maybe I can hit the local CD & Game Exchange for a cheap DS for ya. Neither Joie or I has done any crossing of animals lately, myself due to school and sickiness, Joie due to the Pokeymans. But I shall pass along your hello!
